Louis Darcis war ein französischer Kupferstecher. Er war Autodidakt und
spezialisierte sich in der Drucktechnik der Punktiermanier. Seine Vorbilder waren die Künstler Francesco Bartolozzi und Carlo Antonio Porporati.

Vollflächig auf Untersatzpapier kaschiert sowie mit bräunlichen Flecken. "The Fruits of early Industry & Oeconemy" mit Wasserfleck in der li.u. Ecke und Rostspuren am li. Rand.
