1776 Hannover – 1810 Schloss Hohenzieritz

Die gebürtige Herzogin zu Mecklenburg heiratete 1793 den preußischen Kronprinzen Friedrich Wilhelm, ab 1797 König. Legendär ist ihre Schönheit und Anmut, die durch den frühen Tod legendarisch wurde. Kultische Verehrung im 19. Jh. Bekannt sind Verhandlungen mit Napoleon in Tilsit nach preußischer Niederlage.

Gouache auf Elfenbein. Jeweils monogrammiert "F. R.". Verso mit einem Sammlerstempel mit preußischem Adler und Inventarnummer sowie Bezeichnungen. Hinter Glas in Holzrahmen mit Schildpattauflage gerahmt.

Schildpattt unter dem li. Bildnis gebrochen und kratzspurig. Bildnisse und Glasscheiben locker in der Rahmung sitzend. U.re. Ecke des Rahmens bestoßen.
