Bronze, gegossen, schwarzbraun patiniert. Im Halsbereich li. signiert "Fr. Zalisz". Eines von zwei Exemplaren des Erstgusses aus dem Jahr 1997 (Gießerei Noack, Leipzig) nach dem originalen Gipsguss von 1923.

Max Stürmer war ein in Leipzig ansässiger Steinmetz, mit welchem Fritz Zalisz befreundet war und welcher bildhauerische Aufträge für ihn ausführte. Stürmer wanderte später in die USA aus.
