Christian Rugendas
1708 Augsburg – 1781 ebenda
Deutscher Stecher. Sohn des Georg Philipp Rugendas, Schüler von J. B. Probst. Zunächst Mitarbeiter des Vaters, dessen Gemälde er nach Zeichnungen in Schabkunstserien veröffentlichte, später arbeitete er mit seinem Sohn Philipp Sebastian (1736–1807).

Mezzotint engraving in colours on hand made paper. Inscribed "Georg Philipp Rugendas inv." and "Christian Rugendas sculpsit et excudit Aug. Vind." as well as numbered "13". Paper in quite good conservation, only two small holes from thumbtacks on the left image border.Pencil annotation down the plate border.
