881 Seladon bowl. Korea. Probably Goryeo dynasty, 12th - early 14th cent.
Stoneware. Stoneware, reddish grey body, transparent, glossy celadon glaze over white and black slip inlays in sanggam technique. Wide, flat, slightly non-circular form. The interior with four floral bands under a narrow band with line decoration, in the mirror three central chrysanthemum blossoms surrounded by a band of ruyi sceptre heads. Qingbai Ware 960 n. Chr. – Mitte 14. Jh. Jiangxi
Porcelain. White porcelain, the outer walls glossy celadon-coloured, inside glazed greyish-white. The walls with chrysanthemum blossom and leaf decoration in low relief. A stylised lotus leaf border all around the stand. Glazed bottom, unmarked. On wooden lotus bases.
Provenance: family property since 1954, gift of a diplomat from the Chinese state government.
The rim of the mouth of a vase with three small glaze flaws and a t-shaped stress crack in the glaze at the neck. The outer walls with isolated dot-like inclusions, blowholes, small glaze defects and rubbing as well as unevenness in the mass. One vase with a very small fire crack. The glaze of the inner walls with numerous blowholes.

883 Qingbai (?) vessel. China. Probably Yuan dynasty, 1261– 1368.
Stoneware. Stoneware, reddish-brown body, with a matt-glossy greenish-grey glaze. Depressed spherical form with indented neck and plate-shaped flared rim. Body unglazed at the stand and base. On the base a paper label of the Chinese Trade Association Cultural Property of the early 1950s with details of the object.
Provenance: Family property since 1954, gift of a diplomat from the Chinese state government.
Glaze with isolated air bubbles and material adhesions due to the manufacturing process. Glaze cracks (2 cm, 6 cm, 6 cm and 2 cm) below the flared mouth rim, partially running into the neck and shoulder. Mouth rim on the inside with superficial rubbing (max. 1.3 x 0.4 cm).

884 Große Swatow-Schale mit Phoenix. China. Späte Ming-Dynastie, 16./ 17th cent.
Swatow Ware 1574 – 1650 bei Zhangzhou
Porcelain, grünlichweiß glasiert und in Aufglasureisenrot, -grün und -schwarz staffiert. Im Spiegel ein großer Phoenix in einer Landschaft mit Blumen, Sträuchern und Wolken. Auf der Fahne fünf geschweifte Kartuschen auf einem Rautengitterfond, darin alternierend Landschaftsdarstellungen mit Lotosblüten bzw. anderen Pflanzen.
Staffierung und Glasur im Spiegel zum Teil deutlich berieben, vereinzelte leichte Bereibungen auf der Fahne und am Mündungsrand. Re. Mündungsrand mit drei größeren und sechs kleinen Chips. Glasur der Fahne unterseitig ganzflächig mit Kratzspuren, vereinzelte Rostspuren.

885 Baluster-Vase. China. Qing-Dynastie, wohl Kangxi-Periode, 1662– 1722.
Porcelain, leicht gräulicher Scherben, die Außenwandung glänzend schwarz glasiert, die Innenwandung sowie der Boden mit bläulich-weißer Glasur. Die Außenwandung mit Prunus-Blütenzweigen und Chrysanthemenblüten in Gold dekoriert. Am Boden die Sechs-Zeichen-Marke im Doppelring in Unterglasurblau.
Provenienz: Familie Nocht, Tropeninstitut Nocht, Hamburg.
Mündungsrand mit Chip (ca. 8 mm). Malerei deutlich berieben. Ausgeprägte Bossierfuge. Schwarze Glasur mit vereinzelten Kratzspuren, am Hals ein offener Lunker, Standring mit Schleifspuren. Kleine Glasurunebenheit am Hals innen, einzelne Eisenflecke und Nadelstiche.
