Anmutig schreitet das große Tier den knorpeligen Ast herab, den Kopf nach rechts gewendet. Das differenziert, jedoch nicht naturalistisch ausgearbeitete Gefieder und der hohe technische Anspruch, der der Komposition zugrunde liegt, demonstrieren das Können des Künstlers.

Plinthe stellenweise mit etwas Kupferoxid. Patinierung stellenweise minimal berieben. Am Boden mit Filz versehen.
