Cast iron, schwarz patiniert. Unter der Darstellung bezeichnet "S JOHAN. EVANGELIST" und signiert "POSCH F.".
Modell um 1818 von Leonhard Posch. Nachguss. Aus der Serie von dreizehn Medaillons mit den Brustbildern Christi und der zwölf Jünger nach dem "Abendmahl" von Leonardo da Vinci unter Verwendung eines Kupferstiches von Raffaello Sanzio Morghen.
