901   Yoshiiku Ochiai, Fünf Kabuki-Schauspieler (Triptychon). 1870.

Yoshiiku Ochiai 1833 Edo – 1904 ?

Wood cut in colours auf Japan. Jedes Blatt mit Kartuschen zur Bezeichnung der Schauspieler, der Künstler-Signatur und den Zensor-Siegeln versehen. Jeweils an den Ecken im Passepartout nebeneinander montiert und hinter Glas in einer schmalen, schwarzen Leiste gerahmt.
Mit der Darstellung der Schauspieler Nakamura Shigan, Iwai Shijaku, Bando Mitsugoro, Onoé Kikugoro.

Alle drei Einzelblätter eng beschnitten. An den Ecken minimal knickspurig und mit leichten Quetschfalten. Technikbedingt wellig.

Geschnitztes Gesicht mit kleiner Fehlstelle im Bereich der u. Lippe. Zwei Trocknungsrisse am li. Rand. Eine helle, strichförmige, nach u. verlaufende Verfärbung im Bereich der Mi. U.li. Ecke bestoßen und mit kleinem, eingeschlagenen Nagel.
