Adolf Mahnke

1891 Berlin – 1945 Dresden

Deutscher Bühnenbildner. Mahnke kam 1922 nach Dresden, wo er als Leiter des Malsaals am Schauspielhaus tätig war. 1933 Beförderung zum Ausstattungsleiter von Schauspielhaus und Oper. 1940 Berufung an die Staatliche Kunsthochschule Dresden als Professor für Bühnenmalerei und Bühnenbildgestaltung.
