Schüler der Leipziger Kunstgewerbeschule. Studium an der Münchner Akademie bei Gabriel von Hackl und an der Dresdner Kunstakademie bei Carl Bantzer und Gotthardt Kuehl. 1906–10 Gewinn des großen Reisestipendiums der Akademie Dresden. Vierjähriger Aufenthalt in Frankreich (Paris, Bretagne). Ab 1910 in Dresden ansässig.

Walter Zeising 1876 Leipzig – 1933 Dresden

Etching auf wolkigem Velin. In der Platte u.re. monogrammiert "W.Z." und datiert. Am u.re. Rand von fremder Hand in Blei künstlerbezeichnet und betitelt. Verso mit dem Stempel "Deutsche Bildkunst-Hilfe Leipzig".

Minimal knick- und fingerspurig. Verso o.re. Annotationen in Blei.

Pl. 27,9 x 14,5 cm, Bl. 41,2 x 26,4 cm.
