Unternehmer und Autor. 1933–36 Studium der Volkswirtschaftslehre. 1941–45 Kriegsdienst. 1950 Gründung de Firma "Sika Erzeugnisse Scharfe & Kaps KG" in Leipzig. 1962 Inhaftierung wegen Kritiks am Mauerbau. Hinwendung zur Schriftstellerei. Ab 1967 Marktführer für Lebensmittelverpackungen in der DDR. 1972 Zwangsverstaatlichung seiner Firma. Nach der Wende Rückübertragung der Firma an die Familie.

Pencil drawing. Unsigniert. Verso mit der Skizze einer tanzenden Nymphe, den Sammlerstempeln von Erhard Oskar Kaps (Lugt 3549) und Dr. Rainer Kaps (Lugt 4641) sowie einer Künstlerbezeichnung von fremder Hand. Auf Untersatzkarton montiert.

Im u. Bereich minimal fingerspurig. Verso Reste einer älteren Montierung.
