Albert Walther

1880 Großröhrsdorf – nach 1944 ?

Studium an der Kunstakademie Dresden bei Oskar Zwintscher und Gotthardt Kuehl sowie in München bei Fritz Erler. 1931 Führer des Kampfbunds für Deutsche Kultur in Leipzig. Seit 1933 Direktor der Akademie für Kunst und Gewerbe Dresden. Seit 1934 Leiter der Landesstelle Sachsen der Reichskammer für Bildende Künste, Sitz Dresden.
1943 und 1944 Beteiligung an den Großen Deutschen Kunstausstellungen.

Oil on hessian. Unsigniert. In einem profilierten Rahmen mit silberfarbener Schlagmetallauflage. Verso auf dem Rahmen ein Flyer der Kunstausstellung Kühl mit handschriftlichen Notizen zu Albert Walther, teilweise in Sütterlin.

Provenienz: Nachlass Sammlung Dr. med. Kay Fischer, Kamenz (1941–2021).
