1874 Seifhennersdorf i. d. Lausitz – 1968 Berlin

1886–94 an der Kunstgewerbeschule Dresden, danach an der Akademie München. Nebenbei Karikaturenzeichner für mehrere Zeitschriften. 1907 zum Direktor des Kunstgewerbemuseums in Berlin ernannt und später zum Direktor der vereinigten Staatsschulen für freie und angewandte Kunst. Des Weiteren Mitglied der preußischen Akademie der Künste.

Pastel crayons in colours, auf leichtem Papier, unfixiert. Signiert u.re. "Bruno Paul". Verso mit einem Etikett der "Haus Bergmann Zigarettenfabrik A.G.", Dresden. Hinter Glas gerahmt.

Leicht wellig, kleine Farbverluste im Falzbereich. Rahmen mit kleinen Materialverlusten.
