Gustav Adolf Thamm

1859 Dresden – 1925 ebenda

1879–83 Studium an der Dresdner Kunstakademie bei Victor Paul Mohn. 1883–86 Schüler von Theodor Hagen in Weimar. 1891–94 Italienaufenthalt, Mitglied der Deutschen Künstlervereinigung in Rom. Seit 1895 Lehrer an der Dresdner Kunstakademie. Seine Werke befinden sich u.a. in den Staatl. Kunstsammlungen Dresden und in der Städtischen Galerie Dresden.

Oil on canvas. U.li. signiert "A.Thamm". Verso auf der o. Keilrahmenleiste in Blei bezeichnet "Eigentum des Herrn Müllers". In chamoisfarbener, profilierter Leiste gerahmt. Verso auf dem Rahmen mit dem Etikett des Kunsthändlers August Dittmer, Leipzig. In einer weißen, profilierten Leiste mit goldfarbener Sichtleiste.

Malschicht mit punktuellen Retuschen im Bereich des Himmels o.re.
