1902 Dresden – 1971 ebenda

Lehre als Lithograf, danach Studium an der Kunstgewerbeschule Dresden. 1920–23 Studium an der dortigen Kunstakademie, u.a. bei Robert Hermann Sterl, Otto Gußmann und Ferdinand Dorsch. 1923 Studienreise nach Italien. Seit 1928 freischaffend in Dresden und erste Ausstellungsbeteiligungen. 1929 Gründungsmitglied der Dresdner ASSO. Nach 1945 Tätigkeit als Wandmaler und Restaurator.
