Führender Ukiyo-e-Maler, Holzschnittmeister und Buchillustrator, Schüler von Toyokuni (1769–1825), dessen Namen er 1844 annahm. Danach als Toyokuni III geführt.

Wood cut in colours auf Japan. Signiert "Kochoro Kunisada ga" u.re. Verlegt bei Senichi. Verso an drei Ecken auf einem Untersatzpapier klebemontiert.

Papier mit gelblichen Flecken. Geringfügige Randläsionen. Weißer Farbfleck u.Mi. Anobienfraß-Löchlein am Rand o.li. Kleiner Einriss und Fehlstelle im Papier am Rand re.Mi. Recto aufgeklebter, kleiner Papierstreifen der Montierung an Ecke o.re. Brauner Fleck u.li.

Stk. 36 x ca. 24,5 cm, Bl. 36,5 x 24,8 cm.
