Studium an der Werkkunstschule Wuppertal. 1968–84 in Kopenhagen tätig.
Teilnahmen an mehreren Studienreisen nach Kuwait und Bangkok (1979–80), Australien (1981), Nepal, Tibet und Bangladesh (1986) und Meerufenfushi und auf die Malediven (1989). Gestaltete1977 eine Wandtellerserie für Meissen und stellte sie weltweit aus.

in unterglasurblauer Aquatintatechnik bzw. in schwarzer Aufglasurfarbe staffiert. Jeweils re. signiert "ukki". Rückseitig die geprägten Modellnummern "54614", datiert und ausführlich mit technischen Angaben versehen. Eine Platte mit der Bezeichnung "Wittenberg II". Ungemarkt.
