Deutscher Porzellanmodelleur. 1746–1748 Hofbildhauer in Weimar, danach Berufung an die Königliche Porzellanmanufaktur Meissen als Nachfolger von J. F. Eberlein. Siedelte 1762 nach Berlin über und arbeitete ab 1763 als Modellmeister an der dortigen Königlichen Porzellanmanufaktur.

Porcelain, glazed, enameled, polychrome overglaze colors, partly heightened with gold. Malabarian singing and playing the hurdy-gurdy, supported by a crater with agave. Rocaille plinth decorated with blossoms. Marked by crossed swords in blue under the glaze at the bottom.
